US Tax Accountant (Remote)

About this role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Associate to support our U.S.-based tax team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of U.S. individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns, and contributing to various tax-related engagements in coordination with onshore staff.

• Prepare U.S. federal and state individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns under the supervision of senior team members
• Communicate regularly with the U.S. team to clarify data, resolve issues, and ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain organized workpapers and documentation following firm and regulatory standards
• Experience with multi-state tax filings or estate & trust tax matters is a plus

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of tax preparation experience is ideal, but 1-2 years at a minimum preferably supporting a U.S.-based CPA firm
• Familiarity with U.S. tax software
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• CPA or EA certification (or plans to obtain) is a plus but not required
